Some couples want to go through new sexual experiences for many reasons: to get out of the routine, to not remain in their comfort zone, just out of curiosity, anyway, the reasons are endless. After all, the important thing is that both agree and enjoy the fantasy.
Today in the confessional, I talked to Pablo and Camila, a couple of teachers who have lived together for 15 years, they have no children by choice and their passion is to travel around the world:
“We work hard all year to give us the luxury of traveling wherever we want on our vacations, it’s the best money invested; to know other cultures, countries, people, enjoy their gastronomy, the weather and, of course, the thousands of adventures and anecdotes that happen to us during these trips”, adds Camila.

This year they traveled to Egypt, where they went alone on an adventure, but they had something “pending” for a long time:
“Camila and I had a fantasy in our heads for a while now, because of what we’d heard and read, and we said we needed to do it on this trip. It wasn’t complicated, at the hotel they helped us get a joint of marijuana. We relaxed, because when we had it we didn’t want to rush things, it was finally happening”.
“We started to smoke and let it take effect, I felt dizzy at the beginning and Camila got all giggly, and all of a sudden she started to dance all sexy, I didn’t recognize her. Before we realized we were already in bed, on the couch, in the bathroom, everywhere, it was like a powder fuse”, said Pablo laughing.
When it comes to Camila, she confessed that the pyrotechnics lasted several days: “It’s incredible, I’m not shy, but I had never felt so uninhibited. The truth is that we enjoyed it, it was really a spectacular, fun experience and, of course, if you’re with someone who’s down for everything like my husband, the experience will be smoother and more pleasurable”.
According to some research, marijuana can intensify the sexual experience since it has a relaxing effect that results in increased libido. The orgasm is more intensified in women and, in men, the erection is prolonged, despite the increased sensitivity and perception of touch.
I asked them whose idea it was and they confessed: “Pablo was the first one to bring up the subject and the truth is that I didn’t dislike it. I told him ‘one of these days’, and the day came”, commented Camila.
I asked her if they would do it again and they both said no, that they found it an unforgettable experience, yes, but they both agree that what happened in Egypt stays in Egypt. They lived it, they enjoyed it and that’s it. They are not smokers, even less cannabis users, and they have respect for the addiction issue.
Marijuana has been used as an herbal aphrodisiac for thousands of years. A clear example is for Ayurvedic medicine lovers in ancient India, who often recommend it to improve sexual performance and male virility.
In a review article in BioMed Research International, historical data is mentioned in a section on Ayurveda and the concept of aphrodisiacs. Here, they refer to cannabis as a plant that delays ejaculation and improves ejaculatory function.
Today, there are a variety of cannabis products on the market, from suppositories and lubricants to massage oil and vape pens that are guaranteed to improve pleasure and enhance sexual encounters.
In 2018, Stanford University revealed that regular cannabis users have 20% more sex than non-users.
Even some surveys indicate that users not only have more sex, but better sex, which could be helpful in the treatment of some common sexual problems that affect a large part of the population.
However, more research is needed, as there are interesting connections between cannabis and sex. It would be the best for it to improve low libido, vaginal dryness, premature ejaculation and inability to reach orgasm, so that it could be the miracle remedy many are waiting for.
For a long time, mixing sex and marijuana has had positive results, but it wasn’t until recently that researchers became interested in the subject.
In 2017, Czech scientists, experts in psychopharmacology, found that cannabis stimulates a part of the brain called the right nucleus accumbens, which plays an important role in controlling sexual arousal, known as the brain’s pleasure center.

In a 2019 survey of 373 women published in Women’s Sexual Health, more than half of those who had used marijuana before sex said they had increased sexual desire and better orgasms.
According to scientists, cannabis not only relaxes, it dilates blood vessels. Vasodilation is key to positive sexual arousal, because it also improves sexual function by reducing anxiety and pain, which are common barriers to a sexual experience.
On the other hand, two Canadian doctors found an interesting fact related to cannabis consumption, suggesting that it could cause erectile dysfunction since low and high doses generate opposite effects.
From the above, it’s concluded that a moderate dose of cannabis delays ejaculation, while a high dose could be reflected in premature ejaculatory processes. The same happens with libido, a small amount energizes while a large amount can be sedative.
When it comes to cannabis and sexual pleasure; less weed for more fun. And you, would you have such a #sinrecato experience with your partner?
