When I started to write this, 2025 was only 13 days away from ending, and I wanted to reflect on everything that was gone, everything that has come, and everything I hope will come into my life in 2026.
Before doing so, I want to thank God, the Virgin Mary, my family, and my friends who are like family for being by my side, for supporting me, for loving me, and for allowing me to be part of their lives.
So today, although I won’t talk to you about sex as I usually do, I will speak to you #sinrecato as always:
For what’s gone…
- This February, I unexpectedly lost my brother-in-law, Edgardo, a wonderful human being who will always be in my heart.
- In March, I lost my father. And although I thought I was prepared for his death after a torturous illness, that wasn’t the case. It still hurts, and I continue to come to terms with it every day.
- A lot of fears and insecurities that only detracted from my life are gone, and today I am more confident in myself and remember that it’s better to think before I speak.
For everything that came…
- In March, my daughter Cata graduated with a degree in Modern Languages and Culture, filling me with pride as she completed another stage in her personal and professional life.
- Also in March, after 33 years, I became an aunt again, and a beautiful prince named Juan Sebastián was born, who charms us every day with his tenderness and wit.
- In May, after several years, we finally hugged my niece Andrea again, who visited us for a few days that we enjoyed to the fullest.
- On September 4, we revamped our website www.sinrecato.com thanks to our business partner IdeasFan. Thank you, Alfonso, for supporting our project from day one to provide all our readers from Barranquilla to Indonesia the best #sinrecato content.
- I am grateful for the new opportunities that came my way as an actress, because I was part of the cast of a short film, played The Gardener in the children’s play “La Niña Grande” (tr: The Big Girl), in the play “Abrazando recuerdos” (tr: Embracing Memories), and participated in a tv series.
- Dr. Mónica Galindo also won over a new audience. This time, it was a wonderful group of women, with the monologue Sin Recato, thanks to the support of my friend Mapi Reales.
- New friendships have come along to continue collecting new experiences, good times, joys, and, above all, a lot of learning.
- A trip to Cali with my daughter helped me close a chapter in my life that was still open, allowed me to connect with my childhood, and invited me to continue enjoying the present.
- A concert by the Mexican group Camila in the best company, my Cata. It was an unforgettable night, full of emotions and good music that will always remain tattooed on my heart.
